 Terms of Booking
Please be advised that booking any service provided by Fancy Footwork Equestrian implies your acknowledgment and acceptance of the terms of booking.

To attend a Fancy Footwork Equestrian clinic you must be fully in control of the horse that you are riding in a group situation in walk, trot and canter.

If you are planning to bring a young or inexperienced horse to a clinic and you aren’t sure how it will behave, please email Fancy Footwork Equestrian before you make a booking to discuss.

Please make your coach aware at the beginning of the session if your horse objects to other horses being close to it, so they can inform the other riders in your group and ensure they give your horse maximum space while passing.

Riders need to be 12 years old and above to attend a Fancy Footwork Equestrian clinic. Exceptions can be made for this, but only if discussed via email before-hand.

If you are pregnant and wish to take part in a clinic, please email Fancy Footwork Equestrian prior to booking your place, so that this can be discussed and relevant enquiries can be made with insurance companies to check that you are covered to attend.

When attending a clinic you do so entirely at your own risk, and no responsibility can be taken by Fancy Footwork Equestrian for any damage to vehicles or theft of property.

Please clear up any mess your horse makes before leaving the parking area. It is your responsibility to pick up any droppings from your horse anywhere outside the arena at the venue you are attending.

Please be punctual and ready to start your session at the correct time. Sessions run back to back with no breaks in between and will run to time.

Please note that a clinic needs a minimum of 3 fully booked hours in order to go ahead. If you have booked onto a clinic that subsequently doesn't go ahead due to lack of interest you will be contacted and your date will be transferred to the next available clinic of your choice. Subject to availability.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your place for any reason, your booking will only be transferred to a future clinic IF your place can be filled.

If your place is not filled you will not be eligible to a transfer.

If you cancel within 48 hours of the day of your clinic you will not be eligible to any transfer.
No refunds given.

If you need to cancel your place, please email fancyfootworkequestrian@gmail.com

In the Event of a Clinic Postponement

In the event that the clinic is being postponed due to adverse weather conditions, lack of interest in the clinic or human/equine viral outbreak you will be contacted as soon as possible via email (using the email address that you have registered on the booking site) and a post will be put on the Fancy footwork poles and grids Facebook page, so, if in any doubt, please check both places before you travel.

Your place will be transferred to the next clinic with availability at that venue ( or a different one if you prefer).

In the event, the new date doesn’t suit you , you can use your booking for a Fancy Footwork Equestrian clinic any time within the following 12 months. To make your new booking, you must contact Fancy Footwork Equestrian directly.

No refunds will be given.

Arriving Late

If you arrive late to your session for any reason it will be up to the coach running the clinic to decide whether to let you join in, as it’s highly disruptive to other horses and riders in the group, and the exercises are structured in such a way as to be progressive, so need to be ridden through in the correct order to aid the horses understanding and keep their confidence.

If this is 20 minutes or more after your original start time, no entry will be permitted and your place will be forfeited.

Safety

Please note that while it’s permitted for a rider to walk their horse in hand around the arena to familiarise them if required, this can only be done for the first 5 minutes of the warm up, while the other riders are still in walk. After this time all riders will need to be riding their horses in order to complete their warm up and continue with the session.

All clinics will be conducted as ridden sessions.

It is a condition of booking that you wear a riding hat that complies with the current safety standards at all times when riding at a Fancy Footwork Equestrian clinic.

Please note that to attend a clinic run by Fancy Footwork Equestrian all horses must wear a correctly fitting saddle and bridle for the duration of the session. Bare back pads and bitless bridles are permitted, however rope halters and similar are not and the horses can not be ridden bareback.
