Hi I'm Nina...!

I live In Warwickshire with my husband James and my dog Posie, and I’ve been in the equine industry since leaving school.

I’ve worked on a range of yards from Riding schools to 5* Event yards and everything in between, and hold my BHSII ( stage 4 senior coach) and my Pony Club A test.

Fancy Footwork Equestrian started off  life as Fancy Footwork Poles and Grids ( and it still is the name of my social media accounts) in November 2019.

I wanted to create pole work clinics that were different to other peoples, layouts that used a large number of poles ( typically between 25 and 40), and exercises which challenged both horse and rider, with a by product of having fun!

The first lockdown hit in March 2020 which was difficult, and subsequent lockdowns made it tough to survive financially, but during that time I developed my layouts, built a bit of a following and got asked to do a 3 issue pole work feature for Your Horse magazine!

I absolutely adore my job and wouldn’t change it for the world!
