Clinic Terms of Booking
Please be advised that booking any service provided by Fancy Footwork Equestrian implies your acknowledgment and acceptance of the terms below.
SECTION 1
Rider & Horse Eligibility
Rider Ability
All riders attending a Pole Party must be in full control of the horse they are riding in a group environment in walk, trot and canter. There is no obligation to canter during sessions, however riders must be capable of cantering should an unexpected situation arise.
Age of Riders
Riders aged 12 and above are welcome to attend Pole Parties. Younger riders may be accepted at the discretion of Fancy Footwork Equestrian following prior discussion.
Horse Age & Experience
Horses must be a minimum of 4 years old to attend a Pole Party. If you are unsure whether your horse is suitable due to age, inexperience or behaviour, please contact Fancy Footwork Equestrian prior to booking.
Stallions
Unfortunately stallions are not permitted at clinics unless all clinic spaces are booked privately by riders familiar and comfortable riding alongside a stallion.
Horse Behaviour
Please inform the coach before the session begins if your horse requires additional space around other horses so this can be managed safely throughout the session.
Vaccinations
All horses must be fully up to date with routine vaccinations. Proof of vaccination may be requested.
Pregnancy
If you are pregnant and wish to attend a clinic, please contact Fancy Footwork Equestrian before booking so appropriate insurance checks and discussions can take place.
SECTION 2
Safety & Equipment
Riding Hats
All riders must wear a riding hat that complies with current safety standards at all times when mounted. Body protectors are optional.
Tack & Equipment
All horses must wear a correctly fitting saddle and bridle during ridden sessions. Bitless bridles and bareback pads are permitted. Rope halters and riding bareback are not permitted.
In Hand Work
Riders may walk horses in hand during the first few minutes of the warm up if required, while other riders remain in walk.
After this point, all riders must be mounted to continue with the session.
Risk & Responsibility
All riders attend clinics entirely at their own risk.
Fancy Footwork Equestrian accepts no responsibility for accidents, injury, theft, loss or damage to vehicles, horses or personal property.
SECTION 3
Booking & Attendance
Punctuality
Please arrive on time and ready to begin your session at the allocated start time.
Sessions run back to back throughout the day and late arrival may result in reduced riding time.
Late Arrivals
Late arrivals may not be permitted to join once a session is underway, as exercises are progressive and designed to support horse confidence and understanding safely.
Riders arriving 20 minutes or more after their session start time will forfeit their place.
Minimum Numbers
Clinics require a minimum of three fully booked hours in order to go ahead.
If a clinic is cancelled due to insufficient numbers, riders will be offered a transfer to another available clinic.
Venue Etiquette
Please ensure all horse droppings are cleared from parking and communal areas before leaving the venue.
SECTION 4
Cancellations & Transfers
Rider Cancellations
If you cancel your clinic place, your booking may only be transferred if your space can be filled from a waiting list or replacement booking.
Late Cancellations
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the clinic date are not eligible for transfer.
Refunds
No refunds are given under any circumstances.

Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances
Clinics may occasionally be postponed due to:

severe weather

unsafe arena conditions
-
human or equine viral outbreaks
-
insufficient bookings
Riders will be contacted as soon as possible and updates will also be shared via the Fancy Footwork Equestrian Facebook page.
Transfers Following Postponement
Bookings will be transferred to the next available suitable clinic date or venue.
If the replacement date is unsuitable, riders may use their booking against another Fancy Footwork Equestrian clinic within 12 months.
SECTION 6

Photography and videography may be taken during clinics for promotional purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, please inform the coach before your session begins.
